Manicure Monday | Bikini Ready

heyy girls,

this week my friend Justine (hi girl!) asked me if she could borrow Essie Bikini So Teeny from my collection. Of course, I said yes and then a lot of people of Youtube started wearing that color again (not because of me duh). It made me realised that we are officially in Spring. Here in Canada it is still snowing. So, in honor of the Spring time, I've decided to wear Essie Bikini So Teeny on my nails. Oh! And don't worry I'll show you new nailpolish colors next week or when I'll receive my order from FTB Beauty.

It is the perfect baby blue color for the Spring and Summer time! Love it!

Manicure Monday | Blue Intrigue

Heyy girls,

for this week Manicure Monday I decided to dig back into my "old" nailpolishes. I found a Revlon Colorstay nailpolish that I haven't worn in a while. If you follow my blog since the beginning, you might have already seen this color, but oh well. I just think that this is such an unique color and that it deserves to be talked about more.

This week, I am wearing on my nails...(drum rolls) Revlon Colorstay 030 Intrigue. It is a grey-ish blue with a silver sheen to it. To me it is a great color to transition into Spring. It isn't too bright, neither too dark. It is nothing dramatic, but you still get that pop of color. I don't remember how good the staying power is and I haven't worn it long enough to tell.

On my ring finger, I am wearing Essie Butler Please. I hesitated painting my nails this color instead of the Revlon Intrigue that I am wearing in those pictures. Since my nails were painted with a more neutral toned blue, I decided to add this bright deep blue color. It adds some dimension and a pop of color.

For my base coat, I am wearing the usual ; Essie All In One Base Coat.

And I protected it with the top coat from Seche Vite. As you can tell I am obsessed with this product!

Review | Inglot Eyeshadows

Heyy girls,

today I am back with a review of a product that I've been wanting to try for SO long. You probably saw it in my Birthday Haul Part 1... (drum roll) I am going to be reviewing the Inglot eyeshadows! I found their store in a mall in Montreal and I was very surprised to see that they have stores in Canada. I've heard a ton of amazing things about their eyeshadows from Imats haul on Youtube. Without anymore rambling let's see what are my thoughts...

Price & Deals
I got a trio of eyeshadow from their Freedom System. Basically, you choose how many eyeshadows you want (in my case it was 3), then you select them from their huge collection and that's it, you're done. It is SO simple and fun! They usually have deals like 2 eyeshadows plus the container for 25$, but they were having this deal at my store (I don't know if you can still get it); 3 eyeshadows plus a container with a big mirror for 29$. It was the same price as the 3 eyeshadows plus a regular container. Each eyeshadow is 8$ and the price changes for the container.

Packaging
I LOVE the packaging and I love how you can change them places. They remind me of the MAC palette with the pan form MAC eyeshadows. I had no problem with the packaging so far since it is very sturdy and good quality. Oh! I almost forgot... it also comes with a double handed sponge tips applicator, but I use my own brushes instead.

Manicure Monday | Coral Perfection

heyy girls,

I've decided to start something new on my blog...Manicure Monday. Every Monday, I'll show you the nailpolish that I'm wearing this week or just a nailpolish that I have in my collection. Sometimes, I'll do tips and tricks. I don't know if this is going to replace the Monday Challenges, but we'll see.

Today I am going to show you a nailpolish that I got recently at Walmart. It is from the brand Essie. This color is very popular and is definitely the perfect coral for the Spring time. Did you guess it? Yep. You're right. It is Tart Deco by Essie.

Tart Deco is a gorgeous milky opaque true coral. It isn't too pink, neither too orange. With two coats you have an even and opaque finish on your nails. Please excuse my dry hands, winter really needs to go away!

As a base coat, I am wearing Essie All in One Base. I might do a review about this product, but you've heard already so much from me that I dough it to be necessary. For my top coat, I am wearing the usual; Seche Vite Top Coat.

♡ Haul | What I Got For My 17th Birthday Part 1 ♡

Heyy girls,

On my birthday I went shopping at Montreal. In reality, this isn't a "what I got for my birthday" post. But this is more of a "what I bought to myself for my birthday", March 5th. I turned 17 years old, and I can't believe it. It feels like the years went by so fast! But anyway, I am going to do a part 2 to this post because today I'll only show you what I bought to myself. On the second part though I'll show you what my friends and family got me for my birthday. *Disclaimer* I don't do this to show off what I got. I only do post like that because I enjoy reading them (or watching them on Youtube), and it wasn't necessary to my friends and family to give me gifts; this is why I am thankful for everything that I got.

One the store that I was the most excited to buy stuff from is the Inglot boutique. I didn't know that we had Inglot stores in Canada, especially not in Montreal. So, I was very excited when I saw it. The products that I bought are three eyeshadows. The first eyeshadow that I got is the color 351 which is a matte cream. Then, I got the color 395, a satin champagne. And finally, I bought the color 423 which is a purple-brown with a satin finish. They came in a pan form and you can buy a palette to put them in, or you can put them in an empty palette that you already own. I got the palette with a wide mirror and a double-handed sponge tip applicator because they were having a deal; 3 eyeshadows plus an empty palette for 29$CA.

I also went to Forever 21. I was looking for a dress to wear on my Graduation day in June, unfortunately I found nothing. But I found some cute pyjama sets! They were only 15$CA each. So the first one that I got is this cute grey tank top with a cat on it, with an hot pink pair of shorts.

Monday Challenge | Pastel Fantasy

Heyy girls,

on this wonderful Monday, we are going to jump right into Spring. I don't know about you, but I am sick of Winter right now. I can't wait to say goodbye to the cold weather & the snow, and to say hello to the sun & the warm air. Anyway, I hope this short post will bring some Spring spirit into your day. Let's get started!

Do you like pastel colors?
I don't like pastel colors, I love them!

Do you wear it often? Never?
It depends on the season, but during Spring & Summer time that's all I am wearing on my nails. As for clothes, I only wear pastels during Spring. I was supposed to show you my favorite pastel fashion pieces, but unfortunately I am moving out currently and I only have my winter clothes with me...

Fashion Friday | Workout Clothes

Heyy girls,

Recently, I've really be into health & fitness and today I took the decision to incorporate more of that kind of content on my blog. Hopefully you'll like it and find it interesting. So, today I'm going to talk about my favorite workout clothes that I've tried so far. I'll start with the tops and then I'll talk about the bottoms and even socks!

This picture isn't mine; I took it from Pinterest.
My favorite tops
I've really been enjoying this top from Lolë. I bought at Sport Expert for 40% off and I'm glad I did. What's awesome about this top is that there is a sport bra incorporated in it, so you can only wear this with a pair of yoga pants and you're good to go. I also love how there is a pocket in the back to put your water bottle. It is very expensive though, and to be quite honest I would never of bought this top if it wasn't on sale.

Another top that I love is from the Nike Dry-Fit collection. It is this ombre blue tank top. What I really like about this top compared to the other one that I've just talked about is the thin material. But it isn't thin at the point you can see through the shirt, and the fabric isn't too stretchy or too stiff. I mean for the price you definitely get the quality. Again, this top is very expensive, but I got it for 50% off I think. So far, I'm really liking the Dry-Fit collection.

If you are looking for affordable good quality workout clothes, Target has some cool stuff. I haven't tried a lot of their stuff but I know that they carry the brand Champion, which is a well-known fitness brand.

Monthly Favorites | February 2014

Heyy girls,

I don't have many favorites to show you this month because I just recently bought new stuff and I want to really give those products a good try before telling you all about it, but anyway, I still wanted to show you my favorites for the month of February.

I've really been enjoying the Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisturizer for sensitive skin. It definitely isn't as good as my First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream, but for a drugstore moisturizer it is pretty good. I liked how light it was while still being very moisturizing.

Towards the end of this past month, I've started wearing more pastel colored nailpolishes. I've especially been loving the Zoya Dot nailpolish. I wore it two weeks in a row plus I did my pedicure with this same color. That should means something, right?

Next, I've been really liking this shampoo from Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy Strong Lenghts. It is very creamy and smells SO good. I just can't get over this clean and fruity scent! It is moisturizing, but at the same time no too moisturizing so you don't have to be worry about your hair getting oily quickly. I found this shampoo perfect for the dryer months since I wash my hair everyday I don't like very clarifying shampoo. Basically, this shampoo is perfect for me. I think I'll even buy the conditioner when I'll have the chance ;)

I don't know if I've talked about this product before, but I've been loving this Garnier Fresh Eye Makeup Remover. It didn't irritate my eyes and it removed most of my eye makeup in one take. I do love this product better than L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, and its price is more budget friendly.

Monday Challenge | Shiny Lips

Heyy girls,

I hope you had an amazing weekend. For me the weekend isn't finish yet since I'm on Spring Break right now and I have no school until next Monday ;) I hope you enjoyed my Friday post that I actually posted on Saturday (shuut don't tell anyone). If you didn't read it and you're interested into knowing what are my thoughts about the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara, well click here. But anyway, this week I am back with another Monday Challenge. And this week we'll talk about lipgloss! Let's get started...

Do you wear lipgloss? Never? Occasionally? Everyday?
I used to wear lipgloss every time I wore makeup, but recently, I've just been disliking wearing lipgloss. I've juste really  been into matte lip products and let's be honest, my lips are somewhat big and sometimes I don't like putting lipgloss over them because it makes them look even more big... But, hey, I'm not complaining, I'm lucky to have a full set of lips ;)
What are your favorite shades? On the opposite side, what are the shades that you dislike? Or that you don't dare wearing?
If I ever wear lipgloss, I usually go for pinky nudes or just pink lipglosses in general. Wearable pinks though. The shades that I kind of fear are browns and purples.
What are your favorite brands as far as lipgloss goes?
For an high-end brand I like Benefit lipglosses. I like L'Oreal lipglosses for a drugstore brand. I've also heard that Revlon and Maybelline have amazing formulas.

Review | Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara

Heyy girls,

Today I'm going to review the Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes! Mascara. I got this little sample sized mascara in an holiday kit at Sephora. I've been testing out this product for a couple of days now, and I'm finally ready to give you my opinion...

The packaging
The packaging is very simple, yet pretty. I didn't have any issue with the packaging or the quality of it.

The brush
The brush reminded me of the Covergirl Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara, but in a bigger version. It isn't too big, neither too small. It has a lot of bristles to it that helps separating your lashes.
