♥June Wishlist 2013♥

heyy girls,

Since I haven't done a wishlist post in a while I've decided to do one today! Yeah! ;)...

The first thing that I've been wanting to buy for a very long time is this Buxom lipgloss. I don't have a shade in particular that I want but some beauty  gurus have been raving about these so I REALLY want to try it out ;) You can find this product at Sephora.

The next thing on my wishlist is the famous Beauty Blender. I've heard so much great things about this little sponge that I kind of want to try it out to see if it is THAT good... Again, you can buy this product at Sephora.
This next makeup kit is also from Sephora and it is the Tarte Awaken Your Complexion which it comes with an Amazonian Clay Finishing Powder, a Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment, a Pure Maracuja Oil, a Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in the shade of your choice AND a Bamboo Concealer Brush. I personally think that it is a good deal for 38$...

The next item on my wishlist is this dress from Forever 21 which is called the Essential Colorblocked Dress with Belt. I just  think it is SO pretty ;)

This next item is jewelry! I just think those earrings are so classy and I LOVE the kind of blush color in the middle. I am in love with those and I NEED them...Again, you can find them at Forever 21.

I've been wanting some good makeup brushes for almost a year now and I totally want the Sigma ones because everyone seems to like them....They also look good quality and you have every single brush that you can possibly need in this kit...

May Favorites 2013

heyy girls,

I can't believe May is almost gone! It went by so fast! It's crazy! Anyway...Today I am here with my May Favorites. I didn't really discovered new stuffs this month but I've still wanted to show you...

My first favorite is actually three nailpolishes. I've just been loving pastel AND coral nailpolishes...by Essie! I just love their nailpolishes! The colors are so pretty and opaque! So I've been loving Cute as a button, Mint Candy Apple and Under Where?.

Next, I've been loving my Garnier Roll-On undereye concealer. I've been using this product for a couple of months now and I've never thought it was good but I don't know why but recently I have been reaching for it a lot...and also suddenly loving it!...

If you saw my last post (here) you know that I'm in LOVE with this quad by Maybelline which is in Natural Shock because these are all MAC dupes ;) You also might have seen it in my last haul (here)...

I know that my next favorite have been a favorite for a couple of months now but it is THAT good! Seriously I'm constantly reaching for it and using it! The Nivea Lip Butter is the BEST! ;)

Maybelline Natural Shock MAC dupes? + eye makeup look

heyy girls,

recently I've watched a video on youtube about MAC dupes and Melmphs (beauty guru on youtube) said that the quad from Maybelline called Natural Shock contained 4 dupes for MAC eyeshadows so I had to get it. And I did. I went to the closest drugstore the same day and got the last quad. By the way this quad is limited edition so I highly recommend you to go to your local drugstore after reading this post ;)

Melmphs video if you want to see comparisons of the MAC eyeshadows with those from Maybelline (go at 07:45): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoBtLQHZ1oI

(left to right)
The pearly white color would be a dupe for MAC Phloof! eyeshadow.
The light rose gold color would be a dupe for MAC All That Glitters eyeshadow.
The copper color would be a dupe for MAC Sable eyeshadow.
The dark brown color is a dupe for MAC Corduroy eyeshadow.

Here are some swatches....

This part will be on this eye look that I did with the Maybelline Natural Shock quad. It is a more "girl's night out" look or you can even wear it to prom...

**I don't know why but my camera always take out some of the intensity of my look so keep in mind that this is a little bit more dramatic in real life**

1) Prime your eyelid with a primer. You want the eye makeup to last all night!

2) Apply the second color from the palette which is the light pinky beige (the dupes of All That Glitters) all over the lid.

3) Next, use the dupe for MAC Sable and but it lightly in the crease. Believe me, this color is SO pigmented! Also you can build up the intensity if you have darker skin.

4) Use the darker shade in the palette and put it in the outer V of your eye. Put some in the crease. Lightly though! Again, build up the intensity if you have darker skin.

5) Highlight you inner corner and your browbone with the first color of the palette.

6) Line your upper lash line with a brown pencil eyeliner.

 7) With a little brush take some of the darker color of the palette and smudge the brown eyeliner that you just put on your upper lash line.

8) Curl your lashes!

9) Apply a coat of a volumizing mascara to add even more glam to the look!

Here is the final look :)

♥Inexpensive & Cute Jewelry! + Mini-haul♥

heyy girls,

a couple a days ago I received a package from Rings & Tings. I got a bracelet, a ring and a necklace which I am in love with those three items. I am here to tell you my honest review on those jewelries. But before I tell you here are what they look like...

here is the link to this ring: http://www.ringsandtings.com/collections/rings-best-selling/products/cat-ear-ring
The ring is very good quality I wore it during an entire day and I've never got a green circle stain that cheap jewelry can give you sometime so for me it was a good sign that these were made with good quality materials. The size of the ring is perfect I wore it on my right index finger and it was perfect. It cost 3.50£ which equals at 5.30$CA.
here is the link to this bracelet: http://www.ringsandtings.com/collections/bracelets-best-selling/products/pyramid-beads-with-spike-woven-bracelet
I love the studs on this bracelet and even though it is made with a thread material it doesn't feel cheap at all. It feels sturdy in a way that it won't break on you out of the blue. The closure is very nice and I basically love everything in this bracelet. I wore it almost every single day since I got it. It cost 4£ which equals at 6$CA.
I couldn't find this one on the website... http://www.ringsandtings.com
This necklace is also very good quality. The chain isn't cheap so you don't have to be afraid about loosing it during the day. The closure is also very secure so again, it is a good thing. I don't how much it is but I guess it is between 6$-8$.

My final thoughts:

I have to say that I am very pleased with the jewelry pieces that I received. I love how everything in their website is so cute and fashionable. Also it is SO inexpensive and they ship WORLDWIDE. Not only they ship everywhere but it is also FREE! I am definitely going to purchase more of their stuffs that's for sure!

I also have a little gift/surprise for you...
Get 10% off your order with the code  STYLECARD10

Now here is the second part of this post...MINI SUMMER HAUL

The first thing that I got is this nailpolish from Essie in the color Cute as a Button...

The first thing that came in my box was this nailpolish from Cuccio Colour in the colour I Left My Heart In San Francisco. It is a very pretty light milky pink. I love how pigmented it is! With two coats you're good to go ;)

Excuse my dry hands...

Products I've used up

heyy girls,

I finally found a computer to publish upcomping post! YEAH! So here I am today with some products that I've used up during those past months... I didn't used up a lot of products but I thought that it will be something informative to post. Also, it is mostly skincare products...

This is in not particular order....

I used up this Marcelle Essentials waterproof make-up remover. I LOVE it! I use it to remove my eye makeup. It is gentle for the eye area but at the same time it removes ALL your eye makeup EVEN waterproof makeup ;) I already repurchased this product.

The next thing that I've used up is this Ducray foaming gel cleanser. It is a gentle cleanser for acne-prone skin. It is definitely less arch on the skin than the Vichy one that I will talk about in this post. I've been using this product for more than 3 years now and I am still using it until this day since a repurchased a new bottle ;)

The only beauty product that I've used up is this mini size of Benefit They're Real! mascara. I did a review on it. Like I said in the review, I LOVE this mascara because of the shape of the brush but I won't purchase the full size because I don't want to spend 26$CA on a mascara since they have good ones at the drugstore.

How I style colored shorts

heyy girls,

since summer is coming I thought it will be nice to come with more summery ideas...so here I am today with a how to style colored short. I have recently bought those clothes that I'll show you later. When I got home I was very surprised to see that I could do many different looks with only one pair of shorts. I have decided to do this post to help out people who wants to wear color in their upcoming outfits but doesn't know how to style it.

**In those outfit I will show you how I style bright blue mini short**

The first outfit is definitely a bright and daring outfit to wear. I like the color blocking on this outfit. As you will see, I don't wear a lot of jewelry with bright color because I don't want it to look "too much".

In real life, the top is really a bright coral and I am wearing a black bandeau underneath because it is kind of sheer.

The key to this outfit is to wear three colors maximum. Example, I am wearing some bright blue short, a bright coral tank top and a black bandeau. In this case, you don't need a lot of accessories since you already have a lot going on with the bright colors.

This next outfit is a very casual outfit that you can wear during those more chilly nights. I think it is still very cute and it is comfy.

I wore a black bandeau underneath it for you to see that it is more sheer in the back. This is why I would probably wear a white or a colorful bandeau. Again I kept it simple in the accessories...

♥ The Beauty Blogger TAG ♥

heyy girls,

today I am here with another TAG. I wasn't tag but I just thought I would do it.

1. Is your hair naturally curly or straight?
My hair is naturally wavy. It is not crazy curly and neither straight. I am pretty happy about my hair and I usually keep them natural on a day to day because I like how it looks :)

2. Do you dye it yourself or go to a salon?
I don't dye my hair. I don't know why but I've always been afraid of dying my hair because I like my hair color and it is kind of unique so I'm afraid to never be able to go back to that color.

3. Do you wear the same style everyday, or do you change it?
Well...At my school we have a uniform so I basically always wear the same stuff but I have more than one style. It just depends on how I feel that day ;)

4. Do you do your own mani/pedi or go to a salon?
I do my own mani because it gives me a reason to buy more nailpolish colors. I don't know if it makes any sense but I prefer doing my mani at home but I won't mind getting it done at a salon.

5. How often do you change your nail polish?
I change my nailpolish weekly...

6. Do you polish your toes in the winter or just the summer?
I don't really wear nailpolish on my toes because I just don't have the time to do them XD

7. How long does it take for you to put on makeup?
It depends. If a have 30 minutes I will take those 30 minutes but usually I don't have much time before school so I try to take 15 - 20 minutes max. I know some people might think it is a lot of time to be spending on makeup but I do listen to YouTube videos while I am doing my makeup...I guess it takes me more time because of it!?

8. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
I do my face first.

9. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
I do collect makeup but I try to use all my products. Of course, I buy things that I need as well ;)

10. How often do you wear false eyelashes?
I have never tried to put on false lashes. But I do like them :)

11. Do you do a full face of makeup everyday?
No. I usually wear concealer with powder over it and I do a simple eye look. I put gloss before heading out and I'm good to go!

12. Do you wear makeup when you're home alone or with family?
I don't wear makeup if I know I am not going out of the house. Of course I don't always wear makeup when I go out shopping. I wear makeup because I like it not because I feel like I should ;)

13. Will you leave the house without makeup?
I have no problem with that!

14. How many high-end products do you have?
Not a lot. I feel like I have a good balance between high-end and drugstore.

15. Do you plan your OOTD every night or decide when you're getting dressed?
I usually decide when I am getting dressed...

16. How often do you change your handbag?
I change my handbag when it is winter or summer. When Spring arrives I take out of the closet my summer handbag and when Fall arrives I take out my Winter handbag ;)

17. What time do you wake up and go to sleep?
During the week I wake up at 7:15 am and I usually go to sleep at 22:30. But during the weekend I don't have a time that I need to wake up or go to sleep.

18. How often or when do you workout?
I try to workout 3 times a week. It is nothing extreme. I do 30 minutes of bike or running. But I have to admit that I don't always have the time or the energy to workout. But I try...

19. Left handed or right handed?
I am right handed.

20. How tall are you?
5'7"

Comparisons: Maybelline Color Tattoo and MUFE Aqua Cream

heyy girls,

today I am here with a comparison of the Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream and the Maybelline Color Tattoo... In this post I will compare the shades that I have and I'll talk to you a little bit more about them even if I have already done a review on both of those products. So here is what they look like...

Left to Right, Up to Down: MUFE Aqua Cream in 13, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Beige.

Left to Right, Up to Down: MUFE Aqua Cream in 13, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Beige.

The Maybelline Color Tattoo came in a large variety of shade. They are creamy but some of them can feel a little bit dry after a while. You really need to warm up the product first because it won't glide as well as the MUFE Aqua Cream. These also came in different shades. I have to say that I like the MUFE Aqua Cream better for the texture which is more creamy. I forgot to mention also that the MUFE Aqua Cream last a little bit longer that the Maybelline Color Tattoo.
