April Favorites 2013

heyy girls,

today I'm here with another monthly favorites. I haven't discovered that much product this month and some of my previous favorites will definitely come back for this post also ;) Here is what I've been loving this month...

Before I get started on my favorite beauty related things of the month I just wanted to quickly mention my fashion favorite of the month...I've been loving my black TOMS and have been wearing them almost every single day. They are super comfy and I highly recommend them!

Now back to the beauty favorites. This month I have been loving the new Nivea Lip butter. I hauled them on my last post I think (here). They are very moisturizing and the vanilla & macadamia scent smells soooo good!

The next thing that I have been LOVING is my Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in 13. This little product is fabulous! It is creamy and it stays on all day. I did a review on it (here).

I have using this body butter from The Body Shop for quite a while now and I just completely fell in love with it. It smells delicious and the texture is divine! It is VERY moisturizing and I recommend it to everyone who needs a good body butter.

You surely have seen this next product in my March Favorites2013 (here). Again, I am SO in love with this palette but even more with the color Venus. It is such a beautiful shade to highlight the inner corner. I did a review on the Naked Basic (here) if you want see more swatches.

I have been using this highlighter for a couple of months now and I have to say that it is AMAZING. It gives a nice glow without being to much shimmery. So this is the Marcelle Multi-Colour Face Powder in Luminous Veil. I can do a review on it with swatches if you want. Just leave a comment below ;)

This next product is very liked on the beauty community and I also have been loving it myself. It is the Maybelline Color Whisper and I got the shade 30 Pin Up Peach. I love it so much because it has a good balance between pigmentation and moisture. I will definitely purchase more shades ;)

Review: Makeup For Ever Aqua Cream

heyy girls,

If you saw my last post you know that I went shopping last week and I bought the Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream in 13. I chose this color because it is a very wearable kind of golden with peach reflects. It is GORGEOUS!

I might do later a comparison between Maybelline Color Tattoo and Make Up For Ever Aqua Cream. Tell me in the comments if you would be interested by that :)
As you can see the packaging is very classic and sleek. Like I said before I got the color number 13. Here are some swatches for you to see what the color looks like...

**I only put a thin layer of the product on my hand**

What I like about that product is that it is VERY creamy and a little bit goes a long way. I was very impressed by that product because I expected it to be less creamy and less long wearing than what it really is. You get 0.21 oz at the price of 26$CA at Sephora.

It says in the packaging that you can use it on the eyes and cheeks but I've never tried it on my cheeks to be honest. This cream shadow is definitely long wearing. I have oily lids and it last about 9-10 hour if you put a normal amount of it without a primer underneath. By that I mean if you put a very thin layer without a primer under and you do have oily lids it might disappears during the day.

Haul: Sephora, Walmart, Dynamite...

heyy girls,

if you follow me on Twitter and Instagram you might have seen that I went shopping last Friday with my friend for her birthday. It was so much fun and we bought a lot of good stuffs so here is what I got...

As you can see I went to Sephora :) I also went to Dynamite, Walmart and Simons. I got two things at sephora which is a pink hair elastic that is supposed to be good for your hair or I don't know...I just needed an hair elastic because I was having a bad hair day ;) It was 2$CA I think. I also got the Makeup For Ever Aqua Cream in 13. It was 26$CA and I will be doing a review on it. Sephora was having 15% off your order if you were a VIB which I was very happy about. They also give me a Sephora tote and a sample of the MUFE new Pro Finish powder.

Next I went to Walmart and I bought some makeup. I got 2 BB cream which is the L'Oréal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB cream in fair and the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB cream in light. I will do a review of those soon.
I also got the Garnier Skin Reniew Anti-Dark Circle Roller. It is expensive! I mean for drugstore! It was on sale for 12$CA I think... Tell me in the comments if you want me to do a review of that product. I also was running out of my Covergirl LashPerfection Mascara so I've decided to try a new one. I chose the Maybelline One by One Volum' Express mascara.
Recently, I've heard people raving about the new Maybelline Color Whispers lipsticks so I bought one to try it out. I bought the Pin Up Peach for around 6$CA.
Oh! And I found THE perfect mint nailpolish for Spring and Summer... Mint Candy Apple by Essie. This one was on my list for a very long time and it just recently came out at my Walmart ;)

The last things that I bought at Walmart was Nivea Lip Butter! I was on the hunt for those since they came out but I just recently found them. In Canada, we only have two scent which are the Vanilla & Macadamia and Original (that one doesn't have a smell). They are 2$CA at the drugstore.

So if you follow me on Pinterest you know that I have wanted a pair of TOMS for a long time and...I bought a pair of these in black!! I was so excited that I changed the shoes that I was wearing for them! They are SO comfortable! Seriously I highly recommend them if you are on a hunt for comfy and awsome shoes ;)

Topbox April 2013

heyy girls,

last Friday I received my April Topbox! Yeah! I was kind of worried because I didn't liked the products that I received last month in my Topbox. So here is what I got...:)

I was kind of disapointed that they didn't put the normal pattern on the box because I think it looks better with the pattern but I think they did that because April is the month of ecofriendly stuff and the environment.
This is everything that came in my Topbox...

The first thing that I got was the Micheal Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub. I've heard some beauty gurus on youtube like beautybaby44 saying great things about that brand but I've never had the chance to try it out so I'm really excited about this product. The full size is worth 18$ (100mL). You can buy this product at michealtoddtrueorganics.com.

The Shopaholic TAG ;)

heyy girls,

I think TAG are just fun to do so here is the Shopaholic TAG :)

1. Would you consider yourself a shopaholic?
I don't think I'm THAT bad but my friends whould probably agree...

2. How would you classify your style?
I would classify my style as classic and girly.

3. What store can you not leave without buying at least one thing?
Dynamite! It is one of my favorite store. Everything is so pretty and girly in there!

4. Where do you find the best deals?
I usually try to go on the sale rack before anything because I think this is were you can find the most unique pieces at less cost.

5. What designer are you willing to splurge for?
I have to say that if I have to splurge on something it will be on a Rebecca Minkoff bag...

6. Do you have a go to shopping outfit?
I usually go for something comfy and simple. Because when I'm trying clothes I don't like having a ton of layers to get off before trying anything. Ohh and the worst part is to put all your cloth back if you have a elaborated outfit.

7. What is your guilty pleasure? (Not including makeup)
Omg...purses! I LOVE shopping for purses and shoes. I just think it is easy and fun ;)

8. What is one staple clothing piece you cannot live without?
My leather jacket...I love it so much!

heyy girls,

since Spring is coming up I've decided to do a makeup inspired by that time of year. For me Spring means pastel colors, softness, natural, fresh... So today I'll show you how to realize a very soft and girly eye look. Let me tell you that I will be rocking this look in the next weeks ;) I also included a lip combo that is perfect for Spring AND my floral nail print that I just instagram about it...

Today I'll be using the Naked Basics palette  (review) and the Naked palette (review). So here is the look...

Here is a step by step tutorial to learn how to recreate this look...

1) Prime your eyes with a primer. I used Urban Decay Primer Potion.

2) I took the color W.O.S. from the Naked Basics and I put it all over my eye.
