☆ Top 13 products of 2013 ☆

heyy girls,

today I've decided to do the Top 13 products of 2013 to celebrate the new year 2014, which is coming very soon. I hope you'll enjoy reading this post and don't forget to write me in the comments what is your top 13...

1) Covergirl Lashperfection Mascara
I've been raving about this product for a couple of months now and in my opinion this is one the best natural-looking mascara. It is also very inexpensive.

2) Lush Ocean Salt
This is an overall awesome scrub and you don't need a lot of it. It is made with natural ingredients and smells so good. I did a review of this product a couple of weeks ago.

3) Dove Go Fresh Body Wash
This body wash is very hydrating and smells amazing! It is very creamy and makes you feel clean without irritating your skin.

4) Seche Vite Top Coat
This top coat does dry quickly and it helps your nailpolish dry faster. Honestly, I was very impressed by how well it works.

5) Revlon Lip Butter in Cotton Candy
This lipstick is very buttery and keeps your lips hydrated during the day while adding some color and shine. I recommend the shade Cotton Candy because I feel like this color would look good on anyone.

♥ Mini-Haul feat. Winners ♥

heyy girls,

last week I went shopping with my friend Justine and I bought stuffs from Winners. I thought why not show on my blog what I got since I got some exciting stuff in my opinion AND I did some saving! So here are the items that I bought...

The first thing that I bought is this Seche Vite nailpolish. I've heard so many great things about this product and I was SO excited when I saw that it was 7.99$CA instead of 11.00$CA! I've used it once since then and I love it so far.

The next product that I got is a new base coat from Essie called All In One Base. I think I got it from 6.99$CA instead of 9.99$CA, which is awesome! I have tried it once too and I don't really see a difference so far but I will keep using it ;) It applies well though.

♥ November 2013 Ipsy Bag ♥

Heyy girls,

Two weeks ago I received my November Ipsy Bag. If you don't know, Ipsy is a subscription service where you pay 10$ per month to receive 5-6 deluxe sized beauty products. If you're curious about it you can check it out here. I have to say that I've been subscribe to Ipsy for a couple of months now and that I am very pleased with it. Here is an overview of my November Ipsy Bag...

The first thing that I got in this month Ipsy bag was this Starlook eyeliner in the color Topaz. It is a silver eyeliner, perfect for the upcoming Christmas time. As you know, I am not a big fan of Starlook's products but this eyeliner wasn't that bad. Of course, it doesn't compete with the Urban Deday's glide-on 24/7 eyeliners but it was smoother that the first eyeliner that I got in my September bag and the lip liner that I got in my October bag. The pigmentation is great though. I love how it is a full size product.

Next, I got this baked eyeshadow from BH Cosmetics in the color Aphrodite. The pigmentation is great, you can easily build up the intensity. The color is also very pretty for autumn and I have nothing bad to say about this product. You can learn more about those baked eyeshadows here.

Moving on the the next item, I got this nail polish from Nailtini in the color Champagne. I've been raving about the Nailtini's nail polishes since the beginning and this nail polish doesn't do exception. You can get a good color pay off with only one coat but I always put on two coats for a more vibrant look. What can I say more than I. LOVE. THEM. Yeah I know, I'm obsessed.

First Impression: Bioré Deep Cleasing Pore Strips

heyy girls,

as you might know, Target opened a store near me a couple of weeks ago and I went a little bit crazy. I forgot to do a haul but if you'll still be interested into seeing what I got at Target just tell me in the comments ;) So, when I was there I found those Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips and I've heard great but also bad things about them in the past. This is why I decided to buy them and tell you what is my true opinion about those supposedly "magic" strips. Just keep reading if you want to know the truth about the Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips...

First, I'll just tell you a little something about my skin type, just for you to see if your skin would react the same because as you know everyone skin is different. I have combination skin to normal, plus I have sensitive skin. Actually, my skin has been acting up lately and I think it is because of the change of weather. But basically, my skin gets a little oily (not much) on my forehead and on my chin sometimes towards the end of the day. It is also dry sometimes because I have sensitive skin so my skin gets dry easily. I mostly have blackheads on my nose area. It isn't my a big concern about my skin but I wouldn't mind if they could disappear ;)

So I've tested out for you the Biore  Deep Cleansing Pore Strips for the first time last Monday. So this is a first impression, not a review at all because I don't think that trying a product once can really tell you if it is a good or a bad product. So let's move on to what I thought about this product.

First, I opened up the little wrap in which the little white strip comes in. I put some water on my nose area for my skin to be wet. I did take a shower before so my face was clean.
Next, I read the instruction and did what they tell me to do; I took out the strip after I put water on my face, then I put the sticky side of the strip on my nose. I let it sit there for 10 minutes while I was preparing myself to go to bed.

Now was time for the removing part. I literaly felt like I was ripping off my skin when I was pulling on the strip. It felt exactly like when you try to remove a plaster. It was an horrible feeling!

After that much pain I thought to myself: "There are better be some black heads on that miserable strip!"...

Guess what!? There were no black heads. Zero. Nada. I was pissed off. Then, I went to bed and while I was writting this post, my nose was tangly and I felt a weird sticky residue. It felt like the sticky thing from the strip at the beginning was now stuck on my nose.

I tried to remove it by rinsing my face with water. The tangly feeling stopped after a couple of minutes and I touched my nose again. It felt SO SOFT!

So basically, it did nothing for my black heads but it did exfoliate my skin. For that reason, this product was a total fail to me. Of course, I'll try it again and if my opinion changes I'll do a blog post about it. Also, if you know a way to make it work or if you noticed that I used wrong, please leave me a comment :)

I hope you enjoyed reading this post,

I ♥ Fall Tag

Heyy girls,

as you all know fall is here and winter is definitely coming soon. I've decided to do the I ♥ Fall Tag since I wanted to share with you my love for Fall. I know that I'm late to do this Tag so yes there will be Halloween related questions but it doesn't matter because I'll answer them anyway. I hope you'll enjoy it. Next post will be a first impression or a review on a skincare product that I've recently purchased.

Favorite Fall lip product?
I love my Maybelline Baby Lips in the color Grape Vin. It gives a nice berry tint to your lips and is sheer enough that you don't need a mirror to apply it.

Favorite Fall Nail Polish?
A couple of weeks ago, I bought Chinchilly by Essie at the drugstore and I just think that it is THE perfect color for Fall. Seriously, I highly recommend you to take a look at it if you have a chance one day. It is a very pretty taupe color that goes with everything.
Favorite Starbucks Fall Drink?
Okay so I might be the last person on earth who haven't tried any Starbucks Fall drink, but I'm more of a cold beverage type of person. When I'm shopping I like to drink refreshing drinks like the Green Tea Lemonade.

Favorite Fall Candle?

I can't choose between them so I'll have to tell you what ARE my favorite Fall candles ;) I love Leaves, Autumn and Mahogany Teakwood (which smells like Abercrombie...)

Favorite Fall Scarf or accessory?
Recently, I've been loving my new scarf from Target that I bought when I went there for the first time. I love floral prints so for me it was perfect. I also can't forget to present you my Fall coat that I also bought at Target. **Sorry for the quality of the pictures**

♥ Review: L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover ♥

Heyy girls,

It has been a long time since I've post something and I wanted to apologize. Also I would really appreciate if you could write me in the comments section what you want me to do next (ex: makeup collection, skincare routine, tag).

So, today's topic is all about what I think of the L'Oreal Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. It says on the bottle that it is a new packaging so this is why you might not recognize it.

First, I love how compact it is. It doesn't take much space which is great when you're traveling. It doesn't have a distributor (like most eye makeup remover) but that's okay because the hole isn't too big.

♥ October Ipsy Bag ♥

heyy girls,

last week I received my October Ipsy bag and I thought why not show you what I got in this month Ipsy bag ;) Here is what I got...

The first thing that I got is this pack of 10 facial wipes from La Fresh. It says that it is oil-free, biodegradable and compostable wet wipes made of a natural formula. I think this is more of a refreshing type of product more than a makeup remover. I haven't tried it yet but I am very excited to see if this is great or not.

Next, I got something that I was very excited about; I got a Zoya nailpolish! I was SO happy because I've never tried this brand before. The color is very pretty too. I think it is called Giovanna but I'm not sure. It is a pretty emerald green which is perfect for this season. I've tried it on two nails as an accent color and so far I like the consistency and the pigmentation.

♥ September favorites ♥

Heyy girls,

this month has gone by very quickly and it is (again) that time of the month where I present to you the products that I've been loving through the entire month of September.

To be honest with you, I don't have new things that I've been loving, only things that you've seen in the past. But I thought I'd showed you anyway since I personally love to know what others have been loving. For me, if a product came up many times through the monthly favorites, it means that it is THAT good of a product. So here are my favorites for this past month...

The first thing that I've been loving doing this month is quick makeup look. This month I have been crazy busy with school and simple makeup has been my go-to look. For an example I've been concealing my under eye circles from my lack of sleep with my Garnier Roll-On concealer in light to medium. Next I used my Naked Basics (almost everyday) since I had every color that I needed to do a simple eye makeup look and to fill in my brows. So I've basically been wearing W.O.S on my lid, Naked 2 in the crease, Faint on the outer corner when I felt fancy and Naked 2 to fill in my brows. Mascara. Lip balm. Of course. Maybe some powder when I felt like I needed it. That's it.

My next favorite has been my First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream (I did a review here). As you know the weather is changing, leaves are coming down from the trees, the air is getting colder, everyone is sick already and as a matter of fact, your skin is getting dryer and dryer and dryer. Well, I discovered a nice face moisturizer from the brand First Aid Beauty and if you want to know what I think about it I suggest you to read my review ;)

☆ Review: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ☆

Heyy girls,

I've decided that I want to do things a little bit different on my blog from now on. First, I am not going to publish post on Tuesday and Friday anymore because I am too busy with school and stuff, I will be posting at least once a week on a random day each week. Also, I will be doing more reviews and first impressions, I'll also try my best to do more fashion post like OOTD ;)

I also wanted to quickly mention that my first blog anniversary is coming soon. It has been almost a year now since I've started my blog and I want to thank everyone that has been subscribed to me or left me nice comments. This is why I am going to do a giveaway soon and it will be international, so wherever you live you'll be able to participate :)

Now let's move on to the review...

I bought the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream a couple of weeks ago at Sephora and I've been using it since then.

I have sensitive skin and right now it has been more on the dryer side. This is why I was looking for a new moisturizer, plus I ran out of my Clinique dramatically different gel (which was too much of a light moisturizer for this time of year).

First, I'll talk about the packaging. I got the smaller size that they offer. It comes in a regular tube as you can see from the pictures below... It's nothing fancy I like it. The packaging is different though for the bigger sizes.

I like the consistency of the Ultra Repair Cream. It has a thick and rich consistency. It is also very moisturizing without being greasy or too heavy on the skin. It doesn't leave you with a shiny finish since the product get absorbed into your skin somewhat quickly.

♥ Review: Lush Ocean Salt ♥

Heyy girls,

since the cold weather is coming up, I was on a hunt for a good facial scrub. I've tried many brands like Simple and Micheal Todd but I didn't fall in love with their facial scrub. The Simple scrub was okay, it had an overwhelming plastic smell to it which is the main reason why I wasn't amaze by this product. I did really like the Micheal Todd Jojoba (I think it is called) facial scrub though. But I found another one that I liked better! And the winner is...(drum rolls) Lush Ocean Salt!

I've been using this product for a couple of weeks now and like I said earlier, I am in love with it. It doesn't dry out your skin since there is avocado and coconut oils in it, which have moisturizing properties.

UPDATE: I need your help!

heyy girls!

Today is Thursday and I don't have school until Monday which is great because I have more time to write. I just wanted to do a quick post on what I have been doing those past weeks that leaded to the lack of post on my blog. First, I want to sincerely apologize for the missing articles and the lack of effort from me. I don't even know what happened... I guess I just forgot that I had to post an article or I just didn't have any ideas on what I should write about.

So please! Leave me a comment telling me what you want me to write about. It can be a makeup collection, a fall makeup look, Lush products review or anything beauty or fashion related.

I also have some questions for you...

What are your recommendations for a foundation that has a dewy finish, has medium to full coverage, has neutral shades for fair skin and isn't drying on the skin or leaves you look like you have a mask on your face. ;)

Also, I wanted to know which high end palette you would like to win for my 1 year blog anniversary giveaway(Naked, Naked 2, Too faced Naked Eyes, etc).

You can also talk to me through Twitter if you want to ;) @MissBeauty4all or you can follow me on Instagram: @missbeauty4all

I hope you're having a nice day,

♥ Ipsy Bag: September 2013 ♥

heyy girs,

I'm here today with another Ipsy bag post! If you don't know what Ipsy is, it is basically a monthly subscription service where you pay 10$ a month and you get 5-6 deluxe size beauty samples. So far, I've really been liking it and I highly recommend you to check it out if you're interested (here). Lets see what I got in this month Ipsy bag!...

The first thing that I got is this sample from Michelle Phan's new cosmetics line. It is called EM and I'm very excited to try those eyeshadows out and the blush too ;)

Next, I got this Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter. It is suppose to be a brow bone highlighter I guess but sincerely I don't really think it is that brightening. This is why I use it on my water line to make me look more awake.

I also got this Starlook eyeliner in ObsidianI have to say that I don't really like it. The color seems to be black and it doesn't come off very black on my hand. It also doesn't go on smoothly. I was very disappointed with that product...

To obtain that color I went over and over with the eyeliner.
Next, I got the It's So Big! mascara from Elizabeth Mott. I like it. I think it is a good mascara, it is very black and I LOVE the brush. I'm not sure if I would repurchased it though because I haven't worn it enough to really have an opinion.

In my Ipsy bag, I also received this Cailyn tinted lip balm in Big Apple. First, I HATE the color. Don't get me wrong, I love me some red lipsticks but this is the ugliest red I've ever seen. Seriously!?! I don't really know how to describe it...it just looks cheap on the lips (??). AND it is SO much drying on the lips and it is suppose to be a LIP BALM. I love the applicator though...and the pigmentation of the product but that's it ;)

The last thing that I got is this NYX eyeshadow in 108 Golden Puppy. I really don't like the color. I like the texture and the pigmentation though... I just wish that I've gotten another color than this yellow one.

🍁 Fall 2013 Fashion Trends 🍁

heyy girls,

as you know Fall is coming very soon and I wanted to share with you some of the fashion trends that I'm excited to wear or that I just think are wearable and cute ;)

Army trend

This trend has been going on for a while now and I think it is there to stay. I love this trend because it is a little bit more daring than what I usually like to wear.

Tall Boots (Riding Boots) trend

I'm going to be honest with you, I haven't own a pair of tall boots in a while. I just always thought that they didn't look good on me and that they took to much effort to put on and take off for school. But recently, I've been obsessed with this kind of look. I think it is the perfect fall accessory. This means that I NEED to go out and buy a pair...#happygirl

Knit Beanie trend

This fall, knit beanie will most likely be huge. I don't remember if it was the case last year but I know that a lot of people already wear them but I'm excited to try this trend since I've never bought a beanie before. Again, I didn't thought that I could pull it off but this year I want to experiment with my look :)

♥ August 2013 Favorites ♥

heyy girls,

I know I am late (kind of) for my August monthly favorites but seriously! Where did August go?! It's already September now and school has begun for a couple of weeks now. Am I the only one who thinks that it is a bit depressive? Anyway...

Today I'm here with my favorites beauty wise and fashion wise for the month of August. Don't hesitate to leave in the comments what products you have been enjoying recently!

**Also I just wanted to quickly mention that if you want me to review some of the Lush products that I got don't be afraid to tweet me your requests or just leave a comment below :) **

My Twitter: @MissBeauty4all

Here are the links to the products that I got:
Haul: Forever 21, Lush, Sephora....(here)
Haul: Lush....(here)

The first thing that I've been liking this month is my Naked Basics. You know that I already use this palette every single day to fill in my eyebrows BUT this month I've also been reaching to it a lot to do very simple and natural makeup looks since I don't like to wear a ton of makeup at work.

I've also been liking this eyeshadow from MAC which is called Shroom. In my opinion this is the most beautiful highlight that I've ever seen in my life. I don't only use it on my eyes, I use it to highlight the top of my cheekbones with it. GORGEOUS!

Next product that I've been loving this month is my (kind of) new mascara from Covergirl. I hauled it a couple of weeks ago I believe and I've been in LOVE with it since the first use. It is a little bit more dramatic than the Covergirl Lashperfection but it still looks very natural and awesome ;)

Those couple of weeks I've also been reaching almost everyday for my ELF Professional brushes. I've been loving the eyeshadow brush which is awesome for packing on the color on the lid. I've also been using the crease brush to put Shroom on the inner corner since it is too small to use in the crease. In the crease, I've been using almost every time the blending brush to apply color in the crease and to slightly blend the colors together. I prefer my Real Techniques crease brush to blend the edges though.

The ELF Professional Crease Brush

The ELF Professional Blending Brush.
The ELF Professional Crease Brush.
Another brush that I've been loving to apply my makeup is the ELF Studio Powder Brush. Since it is flat and dense it is the perfect brush to apply foundation. If you're looking for an inexpensive brush to apply your liquid or powder foundation I highly recommend you to check out this 3$ ELF brush.
The last beauty product that I've been loving this month is the Olay Clean & Mild Make-Up Removing Cloths. It doesn't irritate my skin and it does remove my makeup pretty well. BUT, it isn't good at removing eye makeup. For me it isn't a big deal because I prefer using an eye makeup remover since I find it does the job quicker.

This month I only have one fashion favorite. I know that I got this Brandy Melville Infinity Ring at the end of the month but I'm just OBSESSED with it. I've been wearing it almost every single day...What can I say..I'm in love! ;)
